To provide our real-time community parking features, we collect the following categories of information:

• Account Information: When you register an account, we collect your email address, password, and display name. If you sign in using Google, we receive your email and name from Google Authentication.
• Real-Time Location Data (GPS): With your explicit consent, we access your device's precise geographical location (latitude and longitude) to map and display available parking spots. Location data is only shared with the community when you actively publish a spot.
• User Interactions and Chats (Walkie-Talkie): We store temporary chat messages sent between drivers during an active reservation to facilitate coordination. These chats are encrypted in transit.
• App Usage Data: We collect basic statistics, points earned, rating history, and reputation scores to maintain a reliable and secure system.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following core purposes:

• To operate and maintain WYLPARK, enabling you to share and reserve parking spots.
• To display available parking locations on the interactive map near users.
• To facilitate direct coordination between active drivers via our in-app chat.
• To manage community scores, points, and reputation ratings.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We believe in absolute data privacy. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third-party advertisers or marketing companies.

Your information is shared only under the following strict conditions:

• With the Community: When you publish a spot or reserve one, your location (only of the parking spot) and your display name are visible to other users participating in that transaction.
• Service Providers: We use Google Firebase Cloud Platform (Firestore Database, Authentication, and Hosting) and Google Maps API to store your data and render maps safely. These providers comply with international security standards.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

4. Data Security

We implement robust industry-standard security measures (including SSL/TLS encryption for all data transit and Firebase security rules) to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or theft. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention and Account Deletion (Your Rights)

You have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of your personal data at any time.

• Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the Settings menu of the WYLPARK mobile application or web portal.
• Automatic Deletion of Chats: Active chat messages and coordinates of expired parking spots are automatically removed or marked as inactive in our live database after the transaction is finalized.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will take immediate steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
